The historical Crediting Interest Rates described below are not guaranteed and should not be taken as indicator of future Crediting Interest Rate of our universal life insurance products. For a given year and product option/policy currency, the historical Crediting Interest Rate is equal to the time-weighted average of the General Crediting Interest Rates applied to the policies of the corresponding product option/policy currency over that year. For example, in 2020, the General Crediting Interest Rate applied to all USD policies of currently available Exquisite without No-Lapse Guarantee option has been changed from 3.65% to 3.35% on 17 Nov 2020. That means, the rate of 3.65% applied over 321 days from 1 Jan 2020 to 16 Nov 2020 and the rate of 3.35% applied over the remaining 45 days from 17 Nov 2020 to 31 Dec 2020. The time-weighted average of the General Crediting Interest Rate applied to currently available Exquisite without No-Lapse Guarantee Option was 3.61% in 2020 which is calculated as follows: 3.61% = (3.65% * 321 days + 3.35% * 45 days) / 366 days; where 366 is the total number of days in 2020.
    3. The time-weighted average General Crediting Interest Rates for a particular year as shown above will not change in the future.
