In order to enable customers to enjoy more secure online investment trading services, Hang Seng Bank has implemented the following security measures.

 

Mobile Security Key or Security Device Authentication

Mobile Security Key or Security Device Authentication

 

 

To trade securities and other investment products online, customers are required to use Mobile Security Key or Security Device for authentication. Customers can use the following investment trading services after entering the 6-digit security code generated by the Mobile Security Key or Security Device on Authentication page.

2. Investment Fund Services (for Investment Fund Account or iPower Account)
3. Monthly Investment Plan (Stocks or Funds)
4. FX and Precious Metal Margin Trading Services
5. FX2 – FX and Precious Metal Trading Services
6. MaxiInterest Investment Deposit
7. Capital Protected Investment Deposit
8. Equity Linked Investments
9. IPO Bond Services

 

How to apply

Search for “Hang Seng” at the official app stores of Google Play and App Store to download the Hang Seng Personal Banking mobile app and activate the Mobile Security Key. Know more

Effective from 1 July 2022, we no longer issue a physical Security Device to Personal e-Banking customers (except for those with accessibility needs). Customers may download Hang Seng Personal Banking mobile app and switch to Mobile Security Key for more convenient banking services.



Logon Notification for Online Investment Services

 

When customers first access investment trading services after logged on Hang Seng Personal e-Banking, the Bank will send you the logon notification for online investment services. The default notification delivery channel will be by email. Customers who do not have a valid email address with the Bank will receive such notification by way of SMS. However, customers who do not have a valid mobile phone number registered with the Bank will be denied to use the relevant online investment trading services.

To avoid transaction delay, customers please ensure your email address and mobile phone number registered with the Bank is valid in order to receive the relevant notification.

To review and update your registered email address and mobile number, please visit “Customer Services” > “Account Maintenance” > “Personal Particulars” after logging in to Personal e-Banking.

Note:
If you do not want to receive logon notification for online investment services, please submit your instruction via “Investments” > “Other Related Services” > “Application” > “Logon Notification Setting” after logging in to Personal e-Banking.
